Since Sara needed the car on Saturday to go volunteer at Wildlife Rescue, I took the opportunity to look for the Green Heron and Least Flycatcher that had been reported from the south shore of Burnaby Lake. While I scratched on both the Heron and Flycatcher, I did see and photograph some new (to me) insects. I think the highlight of the day was the mating Cardinal Meadowhawks.
